Part I of Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
The modules offered in Part 1 of the Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering programme will enable you to understand the electrical and electronic engineering fundamentals starting with the science of elementary particles called electrons. You will be able to apply theories and principles of science and mathematics to solve practical technical problems with basic knowledge and skills of the electrical elements, components and devices to construct simple electrical and electronic circuits. There are also modules that provide study skills as well as business and communication and information technology skills.
Part II of Diploma in Electrical & Electronic Engineering
The modules provided in Part 2 of the Diploma in Electrical and Electronic Engineering programme provide you with knowledge of most electrical components, instruments and devices operation and behaviour such as electric and magnetic fields, analogue and digital electronics, machines and control, telecommunication and communication engineering, microprocessor and programming technology. Master or PhD Degree with Thesis

Master or PhD Degree with Thesis
Students pursuing the Master or PhD degree with thesis shall:
complete a minimum of 9 credits and maximum of 18 credits (Master Degree programme) and a minimum of 12 credits and a maximum of 36 credits (PhD Degree programme) of coursework;
submit a thesis for examination at the end of the programme; and
comply with the specific requirements of the relevant graduate programme, if any.
Master Degree without Thesis
Students pursuing the Master degree without thesis shall fulfill a minimum of 36 credits of coursework
The submission of a thesis is not a requirement but the student may be required to:
Submit a project report or case study equivalent to 4 – 6 credits; or in lieu,
In case of certain programmes where a project or case study is not required, the student is required to register additional courses to fulfill the requirement of 36 credits and pass a Comprehensive Examination which adheres to the following rules:
a Comprehensive Examination shall be conducted at the end of the final semester
the student will be given two opportunities to pass the examination.
The second examination (if necessary) must be taken sixty (60) days after the first examination.
Failure on the second attempt will result in termination of his candidature.
(Note: PhD degree without thesis is currently not available)
The SGS administers, supervises and coordinates postgraduate programmes in all fields of studies except business and management. However, these postgraduates programmes are run by faculties. Programmes with thesis consist of:
Master of Arts (M.A)

The theme for this year's 50th anniversary conference is 'Education in the Commonwealth: Towards and Beyond Global Goals and Targets'.The meeting will bring together a diverse range of educational stakeholders, including Education Ministers, senior officials, and representatives from national and international agencies, academics, teachers, NGOs, youth and the private sector.

This year, there are over 1,600 international students from 56 institutions of higher learning. They represent both the private and public sectors even as far as Perlis, Johor and Sabah and students from about 60 countries were participated in this event.

The Systematic Education Group of Colleges operates eight Private Higher Educational Institutions. Established in 1977, Systematic's prime objective was to provide training to school leavers for their future career in Accounting, Business, Computing, Marketing, Management, Banking, Secretarial and Commerce and Industry. Malaysia is extremely conducive to study, and many Malaysian students have won prizes for outstanding academic results. With more than 23 years of experience, Systematic has produced a consistent flow of World and Malaysian prize-winners for the various professional courses, such as LCCI, ACCA, CIMA, ICSA, ABE and CIM. From its humble beginning in the 70's, Systematic Group of Colleges currently has about 10,000 students, with approximately 200-300 international students studying in the various Systematic City campuses in Malaysia. These students are from Indonesia, China, PakiStan, Maldives, India, Myanmar, Taiwan, Sri Lanka and even as far as Belgium. There is a host of specially organised activities, such as orientation programmes, festive and cultural events, and community projects, to assist international students to acclimatise.
